Perry Aragon – Bass
Perry Aragon is a veteran bassist known throughout the Southern California tribute scene for his powerful playing, stage presence, and attention to detail. Long before entering the tribute scene, Perry spent 1984 through 2001 performing exclusively in original bands, helping co-write hundreds of original songs and developing his own style as a bassist and songwriter.
A 10th Annual LA Music Awards nominee for Song of the Year Fire in Her Eyes with the original band Z, Perry eventually brought his years of writing and performing experience into the tribute world.
Perry’s bass style draws heavily from three of his biggest influences in the Ozzy and Black Sabbath legacy: Bob Daisley, Geezer Butler, and Rudy Sarzo. He blends Daisley’s melodic and precise bass work, Butler’s heavy and distinctive style, and Sarzo’s high-energy approach to live performance while bringing his own years of musical experience to the songs.
Adding to the experience, Perry bears a natural resemblance to Mike Inez and captures elements of the look and stage presence associated with Ozzy’s No More Tears era. His musicianship, decades of experience, attention to detail, and visual presentation help bring the sound, look, and energy of a classic Ozzy Osbourne concert to the OZZMANIA stage.
