Guitarist Johnny Blade grew up learning to play many songs and styles of music, but always gravitated towards the styles of Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Jake E. Lee, and Tony Iommi.

After seeing countless Ozzy, Black Sabbath, and Black Label Society concerts, and playing in various original and cover bands, he decided to start an Ozzy cover band called Ozz Gone Wylde. Eventually feeling confident about singing and developing further, the band focus became Zakk Wylde/BLS songs under the name Doom Crew, and occasionally going back to playing Ozzy/Sabbath sets.

As a mega-fan of Randy Rhoads, Johnny became friends with Kelle and Kathy Rhoads and family through the tribute and memorial events, and continuously plays music with Kelle Rhoads to this day, including Randy Rhoads Remembered concert series.

Since 2008 he has played in the Los Angeles based original metal band NightSword, and also joined with his long time friend in modern rock band The Young Royals, as well as pop rock with the extremely talented Sonia Harley. In addition, he frequently plays at the Ultimate Jam Night hosted by the Whisky A-GoGo in Hollywood, CA.

With OzzMania, Johnny continues to delve deeper into the musical stylings of his biggest influences, along side world class musicians, continuously delivering the Ozzy show experience to larger crowds in more places.
